Skin Narratives is a series of paintings about metaphorical skin and its layers of history, time, scars, and familiar landmarks that we acquire and lose as selves in a body in relation to other bodies and the surface of the planet. What has been erased or forgotten resurfaces in uncanny signs and visions that seem familiar yet not quite recognizable.
